Andre Ovredal’s The Last Voyage of Demeter gets a release date

We had earlier reported Corey Hawkins, Aisling Franciosi, Liam Cunningham, and David Dastmalchian are set to headline The Last Voyage of Demeter. The makers of the film have now announced that the film is set to hit theaters on August 11. 

Directed by Andre Ovredal, The Last Voyage of Demeter will have music by Thomas Newman and cinematography by Roman Osin.

The Last Voyage of Demeter also features Javier Botet, Jon Jon Briones, Stefan Kapicic, Nikolai Nikolaeff, Woody Norman, and Chris Walley.

The story is about the strange and horrifying events that befall a doomed crew as they attempt to survive the ocean voyage from Transylvania to London, stalked each night by a merciless presence onboard the ship.

Previously Andre has directed multiple horror hits in his career, like Trollhunter, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, and The Autopsy of Jane Doe.
