It is directed by Arturo Perez and Samantha Jayne

The latest update is that Jon Hamm is reportedly part of the film. He is said to play Coach Carr, the sex education teacher. Arturo Perez and Samantha Jayne will be directing Mean Girls Musical with a screenplay from Tina Fey. Meanwhile, Mean Girls is adapted from Rosalind Wiseman's book Queen Bees and Wannabes.
