Created and executive produced by Janine Nabers and Donald Glover, Swarm is a series that features a number of celebrity cameos including Rory Culkin, Rickey Thompson, Paris Jackson, etc. The most recent guest star on the show's fourth episode was Billie Eilish. Her appearance has left behind quite the buzz.

Swarm is set in 2016-2018. It follows Dre (Dominique Fishback), an obsessed fan of the world’s biggest pop star who sets off on an unexpected cross-country journey. She meets a slew of characters and commits a slew of crimes.

The idea to cast Eilish in her acting debut role as Eva in Swarm came from casting director Carmen Cuba, according to Janine Nabers. The NXIVM cult, which included actresses like Alison Mack, who is currently serving a three-year prison sentence, is most obviously the one that comes to mind when thinking of Hollywood-area cults. According to Nabers, the head of that cult, Keith Raniere, who received a 120-year prison term and a $1,750,000 fine in the well-known sex-trafficking case, served as the inspiration for Eilish's character.

The series will also feature guest stars like Chlöe Bailey as Dre’s sister, Marissa and Damson Idris as Marissa’s boyfriend, Khalid. Additional guest stars include Kiersey Clemons and Byron Bowers.
