Oscars 2023: Michelle Yeoh wins the Best  Actress Award for Everything Everywhere All At Once

Actor Michelle Yeoh won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in the film Everything Everywhere All At Once (EEAAO). The historic win made her the first Asian woman to achieve the honour. 

Accepting the award, the actor said," For all the boys who look like me watching tonight, it is a beacon of hope and possibilities; dream big, dreams do come true, and ladies don't let anybody tell that you are ever past your prime, you never give up."  

Written and directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, Everything Everywhere All At Once won seven out of the eleven nominations at the 95th Academy Awards.

EEAAO had won Ke Huy Quan a Supporting Actor Award and Jamie Lee Curtis the Supporting Actress Award, along with Daniels for Best Direction.
