Actor Gal Gadot, who is currently promoting her upcoming film Heart of Stone, shared an update about the sequel of her 2021 action comedy film Red Notice and assured the pre productions works are in place.

Red Notice, which is streaming on Netflix, also stars Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds. While the sequel was greenlit by Netflix in January 2022, not much was updated about the project after that.

However, while speaking to Collider, Gal said that she has already read the script. "We're all talking about it. I don't know if I can say anything! I already read the second script and it’s… whoo! We're all very excited about it!" she said. Red Notice 2 will also have Ryan and Dwayne as the returning cast. Netflix is yet to reveal any other details about the sequel.

Meanwhile, Gal’s Heart of Stone also stars Alia Bhatt in her Hollywood debut and Jamie Dornan. Directed by Tom Harper, the film will premiere on Netflix on August 11. The action thriller is written by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder.
