Actor Robin Wright is all set to helm a comic love story with Patricia Clarkson in the lead, as per a report by Variety. The film is titled Bingo. The film has some references and connections to the cult classic film Harold and Maude.
Written by Annakate Chappell, Bingo will revolve around a romantic relationship between two people with considerable age differences and will have a modernised and beautiful take on it.
In a statement to Variety, Wright said, "I love directing. I love seeing what actors can do. And pulling it out of them.”
Meanwhile, Wright's next film as an actor is a film helmed by Robert Zemeckis. Titled Here, it stars Tom Hanks and is written by Eric Roth. The film marks the reunion of the team of 1994’s Forrest Gump.
