Aimee Carrero to lead Code 3
Directed by Christopher Leone, the film also stars Rainn Wilson and Lil Rel Howery
Aimee Carrero, who was recently seen in The Menu, is set to lead the buddy action-comedy Code 3 along with Rainn Wilson and Lil Rel Howery. Executive-produced by Wilson and Howery, the film is set to begin production in February.
Carrero will be portraying a newbie paramedic Jessica in the film. The character will be eager to learn, well-trained and under extreme pressure. In the 24-hour shift where she is training to replace Randy (Wilson), she is in for an incredible day of surprises and realisations.
Directed by Christopher Leone, Code 3 will follow a pair of overworked and underpaid paramedics. When one of the EMTs feels so burnt out that he resigns, he must endure one final 24-hour shift to train his replacement. What follows is an extreme day full of everything good and bad that can happen on an EMT’s first day. Code 3's script is written by a former paramedic Patrick Pianezza, and Leone himself.
Meanwhile, Aimee Carrero will be seen as a series regular in Amazon's The Consultant opposite Christoph Waltz.
