Shazam! Fury of the Gods Trailer: Zachary Levi utters Khaleesi to dragon

A trailer of DC Studios’ Shazam! Fury of the Gods, starring Zachary Levi and Asher Angel, was released by the makers on Friday.

This time Shazam square off against the daughters of the Greek god Atlas-Hespera, Kalypso and Anthea, played by Helen Mirren, Lucy Liu and Rachel Zegler respectively. 

The trailer for Shazam! Fury of the Gods opens with a voiceover, as Kalypso, the second daughter of Atlas, sows a seed into the middle of a baseball stadium. The seed births a gigantic tree, whose roots and branches spread out into the city, destroying everything in its path. “We are at war. We will annihilate everything,” the ill-intentioned oldest daughter Hespera warns Shazam. follows montages of fights, lightning and dragon.

The trailer shows that Djimon Hounsou will also be reprising his role as the wizard Shazam. The filmmaking team from the original Shazam returns for the sequel, which includes David F Sandberg directing the screenplay by Henry Gayden, with Peter Safran producing the film. 

Shazam! Fury of the Gods will release in theatres on March 17.
