Following the premiere of Birth/Rebirth at the Sundance Film Festival, actor Breeda Wool spoke about the need for more films concerning the theme of motherhood in Hollywood.

Birth/Rebirth marks the directorial debut of Laura Moss. The film is said to be a horror that follows two mothers responsible for the resurrection of a little girl's corpse. Speaking to Collider, Wool noted that the Marvel Cinematic Universe can explore this theme in association with Moss. According to Wool, horror is a great genre to explore such challenging themes. She suggested that Moss do a horror superhero film for MCU.  Earlier, MCU's WandaVision touched upon the topic of motherhood and even Doctor Strange: The Multiverse of Madness featured Wanda's character. However, the idea was not explored extensively.

And Wool said, “I’m like, oh man, if I could watch ten more horror — I’m like, where’s the Marvel horror movie about [this/motherhood]? Give it to Laura."
