Chris Pratt to enter the DC universe?

James Gunn, who rose to fame with Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, has recently taken the reins of the DC Cinematic Universe. Gunn along with Peter Safran was made the CEO of the DC Studios. He is currently drafting a multi-year plan for DC. Meanwhile, it was confirmed that Gunn’s Guardians franchise will wrap up the story of the current Guardians with the upcoming third entry in the franchise. 

In a recent interaction with the Empire magazine, Gunn hinted that he is expecting to reunite with his Guardians cast members in the upcoming DC slate. He said, “This cast are like my family. I cannot tell you how close I am to Chris Pratt and Pom and Dave and Zoe and Karen. But I also know I will work again with all those people individually again. Probably at my other job.”

It is worth noting that he had already brought his Guardians cast members Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn to his DC debut The Suicide Squad in 2021. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 is currently scheduled for a theatrical release on 5 May.
