BAFTA Nominations 2023: All Quiet on the Western Front, Banshees of Inisherin, and EEAAO frontrunners

The nominations for the BAFTA Film Awards were announced earlier today. The British Academy Film Awards honour the best British and international contributions to film. 

One of the big contenders in BAFTA 2023 was All Quiet on the Western Front, which lead the way with a whopping 14 nominations. On the other hand, The Banshees of Inisherin and Everything Everywhere All At Once shared ten nominations each. The other big nominees include Elvis and Tar, which won nine and five nominations, respectively. 

SS Rajamouli's RRR, which was nominated for Best Film (Not in the English Language), missed out on making the final nominations list. However, it is not all gloom for Indians at the BAFTAs as Shaunak Sen's documentary, All that Breathes, makes the cut.
