Octavia Spencer, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Lucy Liu to headline Nobody Nothing Nowhere 

Academy award winner Octavia Spencer, Emmy winner Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Emmy nominee Lucy Liu are to headline the 2018 Blacklist and Sundance Screenwriter Labs original screenplay Nobody Nothing Nowhere.

Writers Rachel Wolther and Alex H Fischer will be directing their screenplay with Josh Penn, Michael Gottwald and Allison Rose Carter producing the film.

Nobody Nothing Nowhere is a high-concept sci-fi comedy film. It centres around Ruth, who is a part of a group of human-like beings known as Non-People. The Non-People's only goal is to fill the gaps in a realistic world for Dave- the only remaining actual human on Earth. Ruth is sick of her long life as a background character with no choice. She soon demands a free life of her own free from Dave. 

Rachel Wolther, who has so far only written and directed short films, will have her debut as a feature director with Nobody Nothing Nowhere. Alex Fischer has directed one feature, titled Save Yourselves! starring Sunita Mani in the lead. Rachel and Alex have worked together on some projects including, Snowy Bing Bongs Across The North Star Combat Zone. 

Octavia Spencer earned her Oscar for The Help and a few nominations for Hidden Figures and The Shape of Water. She is currently starring in Spirited and Season 3 of Truth Be Told. Joseph Gordon-Levitt on the other hand is known for his performance in Inception. He appeared on an episode of Rian Johnson's Poker Face and also recently voiced the 'hourly dong' in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. Lucy Liu is onboard Shazam: Fury of the Gods, Red One and Strange World. 

The filming for Nobody Nothing Nowhere is expected to begin in Summer this year. The release window of the film has not been announced yet.
