Speculations are rife that actor Vanessa Kirby will essay the role of Sue Storm (aka The Invisible Woman) in Marvel's upcoming superhero reboot of Fantastic Four. Additionally, there are also buzzing around Stranger Things breakout star Joseph Quinn possibly taking on the role of Johnny Storm, also known as The Human Torch.

It was earlier reported that actor Jack Quaid was roped in for the role of Johnny Storm. However, now Joseph Quinn's name has been surfacing as a possible candidate for the character. Marvel hasn't made any announcements yet.

It is to be noted that Kirby will be taking the mantle from Jessica Alba and Kate Mara, who previously portrayed Sue on the silver screen, while Chris Evans and Michael B. Jordan previously essayed the character Johnny Storm.

The upcoming film is directed by Matt Shakman, who is best known for helming Marvel's WandaVision, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Game of Thrones, while Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer write the script. The film is scheduled for release on May 2, 2025.
