Ahead of the release of third and final installment of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Guardians of the Galaxy on May 5, the director of the film, James Gunn expresses his wishes to work with Indian actor Jr NTR.

The upcoming film marks the director’s final outing

When asked if he could introduce an Indian actor into the universe of the Guardians, and who would it be, he replied that he would love to work with the guy from RRR ‘with all the tigers coming out of the cage and everything’. Gunn also added that Jr NTR was ‘amazing’ and ‘cool’ in the film.

It is to be noted that earlier in the year, Jr NTR too had expressed his interest to join MCU. While touring the US, for the promotions of RRR at the award ceremonies, the actor expressed his interest to play a role within the cinematic universe. He was not introduced to Marvel Studios' executive, Victoria Alonso at the Golden Globes 2023 afterparty

With nothing official so far, the fans of Marvel universe is awaiting the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which will be part of Phase Five of MCU. It is also the 32nd film of MCU and features Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper,  among others.
