Amazon Prime Video releases teaser of The Peripheral

 The first episode will premiere on October 21

The teaser of Amazon Prime Video’s upcoming sci-fi drama series The Peripheral was released by the makers on Friday.

The series stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Jack Reynor, Gary Carr, Eli Goree, Louis Herthum, JJ Feild, T’Nia Miller, Charlotte Riley, Alexandra Billings, Adelind Horan, among others.  The first episode will premiere on October 21, with one new episode releasing on a weekly basis every Friday through December 9.

The official synopsis of the series reads, "The Peripheral centers on Flynne Fisher (Moretz), a woman trying to hold together the pieces of her broken family in a forgotten corner of tomorrow's America. Flynne is smart, ambitious, and doomed. She has no future; until the future comes calling for her."
It is produced by Amazon Studios and Warner Bros Television, in association with Kilter Films. Executive producers for The Peripheral are creator and showrunner Scott B Smith (A Simple Plan), director Vincenzo Natali , Greg Plageman, Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, Athena Wickham, and Steven Hoban.
