Charlie Cox wants his Netflix co-stars to join him in the MCU

Charlie Cox, who recently reprised his role as Daredevil in the Marvel's Disney+ series She-Hulk, said he’ll “put in a good word for his Netflix co-stars,” in a recent interview. He was originally cast as the superhero Daredevil in the Netflix show. Following the series’ cancellation after season 4, there were speculations that Daredevil might be recast. The rumours were put to rest after Cox’s Daredevil entered the MCU with a cameo appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Marvel boss Kevin Feige announced at the recently wrapped Disney fan event D23 expo that they are working on a series titled Daredevil: Born Again with Charlie Cox in the lead. Vincent D'onofrio, who starred as the Marvel villain Kingpin alongside Cox in the Netflix series, also reprised his role in the Disney+ show Hawkeye. However, it was not confirmed whether Cox’s Netflix other co-stars Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Elodie Yung, Rosario Dawson, Wilson Bethel, and Jon Bernthal.

Currently in the early stages of production, Daredevil: Born Again is confirmed to be separate from its Netflix predecessor while still being a soft reboot of the show. The show is reported to be eighteen episodes in length. The number of episodes is unconventional compared to other Disney+ shows like Wandavision and Hawkeye, which are mostly contained within six episodes.
