The first official teaser for Super Mario Bros starring Chris Pratt is out

Chris Pratt plays Mario in the film while Anya Taylor-Joy plays Princess Peach

Universal Pictures has released the first official trailer for The Super Mario Bros. The CG animated film is an adaptation of the popular video game franchise from Nintendo.

This is the third feature-length adaptation of the film following Super Mario Bros: The Great Mission to Rescue Princess Peach! and the 1993 live-action film Super Mario Bros.

Chris Pratt plays Mario in the film while Anya Taylor-Joy plays Princess Peach. The rest of the voice cast includes Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, Seth Rogen, Fred Armisen, Kevin Michael Richardson, Sebastian Maniscalco, and Charles Martinet.

Super Mario Bros is co-directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic based on a script written by Matthew Fogel, he is known for co-writing films like Minions: The Rise of Gru and The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part.

Composer Brian Tyler, known for his work in films like Avengers: Age of Ultron, The Expendables trilogy, and Iron Man 3, has composed the music for the film.

The film is currently scheduled to release on 7 April 2023.
