First look poster out for Cocaine Bear

The film is directed by actor Elizabeth Banks who also serves as a producer in the film

The first look poster for the upcoming dark comedy thriller Cocaine Bear has been released online. The film is reportedly based on real events and follows a black bear that comes across a cocaine smuggling plane that crash-lands in the forest. After ingesting large amounts of the drug, the bear goes on an uncontrollable rampage.

The film is directed by actor Elizabeth Banks who also serves as a producer in the film along with directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. Cocaine Bear is based on a script written by Jimmy Warden. Ray Liotta, best known for his roles in films like Goodfellas and Field of Dreams, will be seen in his final performance in the film. Liotta passed away on 26 May 2022 at the age of 67.

Apart from Ray Liotta, the cast of the film also includes Keri Russell, O'Shea Jackson Jr, Alden Ehrenreich, Matthew Rhys, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Kristofer Hivju, Christian Convery, Brooklynn Prince, Margo Martindale. Cocaine Bear is currently scheduled for a theatrical release on 23 February 2023.
