Actor Amy Adams is set to return as Princes Giselle in Disenchanted, the sequel to her popular 2007 film, Enchanted. Along with this return as a popular character, there were conversations about her donning the role of Lois Lane considering Henry Cavill returned as Superman.

Henry Cavill recently made a comeback as the much-loved superhero in the Dwayne Johnson-starrer Black Adam.

During her Disenchanted promotions, Amy was asked about her returning to the superhero world as Lois Lane. She said, "I'm thrilled for (Cavill). He's such a wonderful Superman so I'm very excited for him. They haven't spoken to me about it (Lois). If it's me, great. If it's somebody else, the role of Lois has been filled by so many wonderful actresses in the past so I'll support whatever direction they go."

Amy Adams has previously played the role of Lois in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Justice League (2017), and Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021).

Meanwhile, Disenchanted is set to stream on Disney plus Hotstar from November 18.
