The film marks the directorial debut of Vasilis Katsoupis and stars Willem Dafoe in the lead. The film revolves around an art thief by the name of Nemo, who gets trapped inside a penthouse at Times Square in New York after a heist goes wrong. British screenwriter and novelist Ben Hopkins has written a script based on a story by the director.
The film is distributed by Focus Features in The United States while Universal Pictures is taking care of the international distribution. Willem Dafoe is known for appearing in critically acclaimed films like American Psycho, The Lighthouse, The Last Temptation of Christ, and Platoon. He was nominated four times for the Academy Awards and three times for the Golden Globes Awards.
Inside wrapped its filming on 1 June 2021 and is currently scheduled for a theatrical release on 10 March 2023.
