Actors Kyle Chandler and Glenn Close have joined the cast of Back in Action, the upcoming Netflix film. The previously announced cast includes Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz.

Directed by Seth Gordon, the film is produced by Beau Bauman for Good One Productions, Gordon for Exhibit A, Jenno Topping and Peter Chernin for Chernin Entertainment. Back in Action's screenplay is penned by Gordon along with Brendan O'Brien.

It may be noted that Chandler is known for acting in films like Slumberland, Godzilla vs. Kong and The Midnight Sky. On the other hand, Close has worked in Swan Song, The Wife and Fatal Attraction

Meanwhile, billed as an action comedy, the storyline of Back in Action is kept under wraps. This film will also mark the comeback of Hollywood actor Cameron Diaz. Earlier, sharing her excitement for this upcoming project, Diaz noted that only Jamie Foxx could bring her back to acting. Diaz and Foxx had collaborated in Any Given Sunday (1999) and the 2014-released Annie remake. Diaz was last seen in Annie, following which she retired.
