Avatar 2 producer has a special message for Indian fans

The film is set to release on December 16

Ahead of the release of his new production venture, the globally anticipated Avatar: The Way of Water, the  film's producer Jon Landau shared a special message with the Indian audiences. With the highly awaited sequel set to release in six languages in India, the producer took to Twitter to write a note while sharing the film's Kannada trailer. 

"Namaste India! I see you. Your diversity continues to amaze me," he wrote. "I am so excited for you to experience Avatar: The Way Of Water in 6 languages - English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Let's celebrate the return to Pandora on 16th December," he added.

The sequel is set more than a decade after the story of the first film ends and follows Jake and Neyitiri as they build their family while also battling their past which seems to be catching up with them. 

Directed by James Cameron, the sequel stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, and Kate Winslet. 

Cameron stated that provided the film succeeds at the box office, he will be proceeding with the fourth and fifth parts of the film.
