Logan star Dafne Keen joins cast of upcoming Disney+ series Star Wars: The Acolyte

The series is set to explore the dark side of the force and its emergence several years before the events of The Phantom Menace

Dafne Keen has reportedly joined the cast of Star Wars: The Acolyte, she rose to fame playing the mutant superhero X-23 alongside Hugh Jackman in Logan. The series is developed by Lucasfilm and will premiere on Disney+ 2024. The makers are yet to confirm an official release date for the series.

The series is set to explore the dark side of the force and its emergence several years before the events of The Phantom Menace. It will also explore the state of the galaxy during the time of the High Republic. 

It was recently announced that Squid Games star Lee Jung-Jae along with Good Place star Manny Jacinto has also joined the cast of the series. Leslye Headland will reportedly write and direct the series while also acting as an executive producer and a showrunner on the show. The cast of the series also includes  Amandla Stenberg and Jodie Turner-Smith.

The series is expected to start the first schedule of production in London.
