Filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola's upcoming feature film Megapolis has added a star-studded cast that includes Adam Driver, Nathalie Emmanuel, Forest Whitaker, Laurence Fishburne and Jon Voight.
Coppola will write and direct the film, which has been in the making for the past 20 years. The logline of the film reads, "The fate of Rome haunts a modern world unable to solve its own social problems in this epic story of political ambition, genius, and conflicted love."
Coppola will independently produce the film, which is said to be budgeted at under USD 100 million.
Coppola's last film was the 2011 horror movie Twixt, starring Val Kilmer, Bruce Dern and Elle Fanning.
Driver was last seen in the two Ridley Scott features, The Last Duel and House of Gucci. His upcoming projects include the Netflix drama White Noise and Sony’s sci-fi thriller 65.
Emmanuel, best known for her role in titles such as The Game of Thrones and Fast & Furious, will be seen next in the horror film The Bride.
Fishburne, who worked with Coppola on Apocalypse Now, will be seen in The School for Good and Evil, John Wick: Chapter 4, and Slingshot.
