Seth Rogen joins Bill Murray, Aziz Ansari in Being Mortal

We had earlier reported about Aziz Ansari making his directorial debut with a comedy drama titled Being Mortal. The film has him playing the lead alongside Bill Murray.

Latest to join the cast is Seth Rogen. He recently starred in An American Pickle and in Long Shot alongside Charlize Theron. He will next be seen in Steven Spielberg's The Fabelmans alongside Michelle Williams and Paul Dano.

Being Mortal is based on Atul Gawande's non-fiction book, Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End. The book is about aging, patients' anxieties regarding death and doctor's tendencies to fall back on false hope.

Aziz Ansari has written the script and will also produce the film along with Youree Henley, Taylor Friedman, and Cameron Chidsey for Searchlight Pictures.
