It's official: Courteney Cox to return for Scream 6
It is expected that Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott, Melissa Barrera’s Sam Carpenter and Jenna Ortega’s Tara Carpenter will be returning as well
Scream was one of the few Hollywood films which managed to gain the attention of the audience this year. It has been announced now that the regular cast member Courteney Cox, is returning for the highly-expected sixth instalment.
Cox confirmed this on the Just for Variety with Marc Malkin podcast while promoting her new horror-comedy series Shining Vale. The shooting of the new Scream film will likely start in June in Canada. But the plot details have been kept under the wraps.
Now that Cox has been confirmed, it is expected that Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott, Melissa Barrera’s Sam Carpenter and Jenna Ortega’s Tara Carpenter will be returning as well.
Radio Silence’s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett will be returning to direct with James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick will be penning the screenplay.
