Popular South Korean crime-thriller The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil is getting a Hollywood remake. The original film, directed by Lee Won-tae, revolves around three characters — a serial killer, a gangster who is almost a victim of the killer, and a cop who tries to arrest the killer. It is about how the cop and the gangster team up to catch the killer.

Lee, who shot to fame with Train to Busan, made his Hollywood debut in 2019 with the MCU film Eternals. He is producing The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil remake under his US banner Gorilla 8 Productions alongside Chris S Lee, CEO of B&C Content; Billy Acumen, CEO of BA Entertainment; and Sylvester Stallone and Braden Aftergood under their production banner, Balboa Productions.
