It has been announced that Sarah Silverman has joined the cast of the upcoming biographical film Maestro. The film, directed by Bradley Cooper, is based on the life of American music composer, Leonard Bernstein. Cooper will also be seen as Bernstein in the film.

The development makes Silverman the latest addition to the cast, which features an ensemble cast including Carey Mulligan, Matt Bomer and Maya Hawke. Silverman will reportedly be seen essaying the role of Bernstein's sister in the film.

The film will be produced by Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, Kristie Macosko Krieger and Fred Berner and Amy Durning. Although it is yet to get a release date, the film will be dropping on Netflix in 2023.
