Pedro Pascal and David Harbour join the cast of HBO's upcoming series My Dentist’s Murder Trial

Stranger Things star David Harbour and The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal are both joining the cast of HBO’s upcoming series. The limited series, titled My Dentist’s Murder Trial, is based on James Lasdun's New Yorker article My Dentist’s Murder Trial: Adultery, False Identities, and a Lethal Sedation.The series tells the story of Dr. Gilberto Nunez, who was indicted for killing his friend Thomas Kolman.

Both the actors are executive producing the show along with Steve Conrad, who is also writing and directing the series. Conrad is known for writing critically acclaimed films like The Pursuit of Happiness, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, and Wonder. He is also known for creating shows like Ultra City Smiths and Patriot.

Steve Conrad is also reportedly making a series-length adaptation of George R R Martin’s book Tales of Dunk and Egg set in the Game of Thrones universe, 90 years before the events of the HBO series.

Pedro Pascal, who last appeared in the Star Wars spin-off series The Book of Boba Fett, is currently filming the third season of The Mandalorian. He has also signed up to star in the feature film adaptation of the popular video game The Last of Us. David Harbour is appearing as Santa Claus in the upcoming action comedy Violent Night
