Set photos from the sets of Amazon Prime’s live-action series adaptation of the Fallout video game franchise releases online. Amazon Prime had earlier announced the live-action adaptation of the widely popular video game franchise back in July 2020.

The announcement was made with a short video tease on Fallout's official Twitter handle. The teaser revealed nothing much except for the names of the studios attached to the project. The television series is set to be handled by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the pair is currently working on the final season of their critically acclaimed Westworld series.

The photos from the Fallout set show us a look at the live-action version of the Super Duper Mart, which is a key location in the gameplay, appearing in both Fallout 3 and Fallout 4

Fallout is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game set in a version of the future that is influenced by the post world war 2 culture, paranoia, and design aesthetics of the 1950s. The video game series, which released its first instalment in 1997, has spawned several game sequels and spin-offs ever since.

A fifth addition to the series titled Fallout 5 is currently under production. Amazon Prime’s Fallout is reportedly the first live-action adaptation of the franchise. Based on the set images it is speculated that the tv series might follow the events of Fallout 3. Although the series does not have a definitive release date yet, it is expected to release sometime around the middle of 2023.
