Darren Mann cast for The Minute You Wake Up Dead opposite Morgan Freeman

Darren Mann has joined the cast of the neo-noir thriller The Minute You Wake Up Dead. The film also stars Morgan Freeman, Cole Hauser, and Jamie Alexander.

Darren Mann is noted for his role in the 2018-released Giant Little Ones. He has also appeared in the Netflix series, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. He most recently starred in the sports drama, Embattled.

Meanwhile, Michael Mailer is directing The Minute You Wake Up Dead with a screenplay by Timothy Holland. It traces the journey of a stockbroker in a small town who gets involved in an insurance scam with a next-door neighbour, an association that leads to multiple murders. Morgan Freeman plays Sheriff Thurmond Fowler, who works earnestly to try and unravel the town’s mystery and winds up getting more than he what he sets out for.

Milestone Studios is producing the film.
