Actor Moses J Moseley, best known for his role in The Walking Dead series, has passed away at the age of 31.

The actor's body was discovered by authorities in Stockbridge, Georgia, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of death.

Avery Sisters Entertainment, the actor's representatives, confirmed the news on their Facebook page. “With a heavy heart, we at Avery Sisters Entertainment offer our sincerest and deepest condolences to the family and friends of our actor, Moses J. Moseley. We are truly saddened,” reads the statement by Gerra and Demia Avery. “For those who knew him, he was the kindest, sweetest, most generous person you would ever meet. We will miss you dearly! Rest in Heaven!” read the statement.

AMC Studios, who produced The Walking Dead, shared a photo of Moseley on Twitter as a tribute. "Our thoughts and prayers are with our ‘The Walking Dead’ family member Moses J. Moseley," read the post.

Moseley, who began as a model in early 2010s, starred on uncredited roles in titles like The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, The Internship and Joyful Noise. His big break came in 2012 when he starred in AMC's The Walking Dead series as a pet zombie possessed by Michonne (Danai Gurira). He made appearances on the series for over three years.

Since then, he has played supporting roles in titles like Watchmen, Tales, American Soul, Queen of the South, Loose Screws, Attack of the Southern Fried Zombies, and Doll Murder Spree. The actor's upcoming projects are Hank and Descending.
