Mike Tyson slams Hulu for making a series on his life

Boxing legend Mike Tyson recently released a statement on social media slamming Hulu and the makers of the upcoming series Mike. The series has Moonlight star Trevante Rhodes playing the heavyweight champion and is streaming exclusively on Hulu. The mini-series which tells the story of Tyson’s rise to the top and his inadvertent fall is scheduled to premiere on 22 August. Two days ago, Mike Tyson took to Twitter to publicly slam Hulu. The tweet says, “Hulu stole my story. They’re Goliath and I’m David. Heads will roll for this.”

He later alleged that Hulu tried to pay Dana White, the president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), and went on to heap praises on Dana White for staying loyal to him instead of selling out for money. 

Following the tweet, the boxer again addressed the issue in a recent Instagram post where he made some scathing comments about the Hulu officials. The post reads, “Don’t let Hulu fool you. I don’t support their story about my life. It’s not 1822. It’s 2022. They stole my life story and didn’t pay me. To Hulu executives, I’m just a n****r they can sell on the auction block.”
The caption below the post reads, “Hulu is the streaming version of the slave master. They stole my story and didn’t pay me.”

Mike Tyson is already on-board as executive producer for another series based on his life which stars Jamie Foxx in the lead.
