Regé-Jean Page, Glen Powell to star in reimagining of Butch and Sundance series 

Actors Regé-Jean Page and Glen Powell is set to star in an upcoming series which will be reimagining of Butch and Sundance for Amazon Studios.

The upcoming series will be executive produced by by Joe and Anthony Russo's AGBO. It will be written by Kyaz and Ryan Firpo and it is expected that the project will be conceived as a bigger franchise with different spin-offs and series.

While Page will play Butch Cassidy, Powell will essay Sundance Kid. The series is said to have taken inspiration from the 1969 Butch Cassidy and the Sundace Kid, starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford. The film followed the two people who were on a run after a slew of train robberies.
