Netflix has renewed its hit drama series You for a fourth season. The news comes just as the season 3 of psychological thriller will premiere on the streaming platform this Friday.

Based on Caroline Kepnes' best-selling novels of the same name, the story revolves around Joe Goldber, a man who will do just anything when love is at stake. The third season will follow Joe and Love Quinn, now married and raising their baby. Their picture-perfect marriage and family life start to blemish when Joe grows increasingly interested in a woman next door.

The show stars Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti, and is developed by Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti. It also features Saffron Burrows, Tati Gabrielle, Dylan Arnold, Shalita Grant, Travis Van Winkle, Scott Speedman, and Michaela McManus in supporting roles.

The cast of the fourth season will be announced at a later date.

You season 4 will be produced by Berlanti Productions and Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Television. Berlanti, Gamble, Sarah Schechter, Leslie Morgenstein, David Madden, Gina Girolamo, John Scott, Neil Reynolds, Michael Foley, and Justin Lo also serve as executive producers.
