HBO's acclaimed TV series, Succession, will be returning for a third season this October, the makers have confirmed. The show's official Twitter account posted a picture of Brian Cox, who plays Logan Roy, with the caption, "October."

The third season will see the return of series regulars including Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Alan Ruck, Nicholas Braun, Matthew Macfadyen, and J. Smith-Cameron, to name a few. New additions to the cast include Adrien Brody, Alexander Skarsgård, Sanaa Lathan, Linda Emond, Jihae Kim, Hope Davis, Dasha Nekrasova, and Ella Rumpf.

The official logline for the third season reads, “Ambushed by his rebellious son Kendall at the end of season two, Logan Roy begins season three in a perilous position, scrambling to secure familial, political, and financial alliances. Tensions rise as a bitter corporate battle threatens to turn into a family civil war.”

The Emmy Award-winning show has been created by Jesse Armstrong. Akin to the first two seasons, the third season is expected to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar in India.
