The Telugu cinema industry is anxiously waiting to restart film shootings and post-production work as soon as possible. Several filmmakers, who had suspended their shootings due to Covid-19 pandemic, have been discussing ways to get back to work. According to a source, Pawan Kalyan's comeback film Vakeel Saab will be one of the first films to resume the shooting after getting approval from the government.

It is learnt that the Gabbar Singh actor has already given his assent to join the sets soon. "The shooting of Vakeel Saab will begin amid strict lockdown guidelines and the production team has decided to set up disinfection tunnel, sanitisers and face masks with eye shield on location as protective measures against the novel coronavirus. Except for some court scenes which had to be shot indoors, the entire production has been wrapped up. With the film being a social thriller, the team believes that the production can be done easily avoiding close contact to prevent Covid-19 transmission," reveals the source.

The industry insiders and trade circles, who are waiting for the theatres to resume operations, expect Vakeel Saab to pick its release date soon. "Given Pawan Kalyan's charisma and popularity among the masses, Vakeel Saab would be given the priority and if everything turns out as planned, it will be the first film to arrive in theatres," the source adds.
