Suriya to team up with Vetri Maaran for a film?

Suriya is riding on the success of Kaappaan, which, despite mixed reviews, has turned out to be a box office hit. Now, the actor is in talks with director Vetri Maaran for a project. 

Earlier, it was said that Suriya would team up with director Siva after Kaappaan's release. However, this Siva-Suriya project is getting postponed to next year as the director is joining hands with Rajinikanth first for Thalaivar 168.

Vetri Maaran, meanwhile, already has two projects in his kitty — Vada Chennai 2 and an untitled project with actor Soori. 

Suriya, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of Sudha Kongara’s Soorarai Pottru. Based on the life of Air Deccan Founder, Captain GR Gopinath, the film also stars Aparna Balamurali, Mohan Babu, and Jackie Shroff.
