Team Kadaram Kondan plan New Year surprise

Vikram's upcoming film, Kadaram Kondan, directed by Thoongavanam-fame Rajesh M Selva, is nearing completion; a source close to the unit says that the film will be wrapped up next month. Now, the director has taken to Twitter to give fans an official update. His tweet read, "Merry Christmas to all. Second look poster and a special announcement with it will be out on the New Years Day. Thanks to all Chiyaan fans for the patience and support."

The film's shoot is said to be currently underway in Chennai, where a grand set has been constructed. Bankrolled by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International and Trident Arts, Kadaram Kondan also stars Akshara Haasan in the lead and has music by Ghibran and cinematography by Srinivas R Gutha.
