The Batman starring Robert Pattinson has been released to a rousing response. The film was released on March 3 in India in selective theaters, and the Matt Reeves directorial sees Pattinson take on the mantel of the night crusader and he does it brilliantly. Apart from his exceptional performance and impressive writing, one of the things that fans are most curious about by the end of the film is if there is a post-credit scene in this film.

Waiting for these scenes to play out at the end of superhero films, especially Marvel and DC universe films is a ritual that fans enjoy indulging in. Easter eggs, follow-up film teasers, character introduction — there is a lot that one post-credit scene can reveal.

So is there a post-credit scene in The Batman?

Yes, there is. However, it is not your garden variety scene with easter eggs. It doesn't tease the introduction of new characters either. Despite this, it is one of the many highlight moments of the film as a whole and adds to the experience that The Batman builds through its 2 hours 56 minutes runtime. Without giving any spoilers, what can be said about this post-credit scene is that it has to do with Riddler.

The Batman also features Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman (Selina Kyle), Paul Dano as Riddler, Colin Farrell as Penguin, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth. The Batman is the first film to star Pattinson as the titular character.

Following this, DC will see the release of Black Adam on July 29, 2022; The Flash on November 4, 2022; Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom on December 16, 2022.
