Police officers discover a severed head in the wilderness just as their station faces closure due to inactivity. The victim, Muthu alias Kaattaan, leads a mysterious life linked to smuggling, a dance troupe, and as a watch mechanic. As the case unfolds, the officers race to uncover his identity, locate the missing body, and unravel the truth behind his death.

Muthu Engira Kaattaan: JioHotstar (Tamil, March 27)

A university hires a paranormal investigator - Rooban (Aadhi) from Mumbai - to probe a string of mysterious deaths, believed by some to be caused by supernatural forces at a medical college in Munnar. 

Sabdham: Zee5 (Tamil, March 24)

Set in Cuddalore and Chidambaram, Jeeva (Akash Nagarajan), a medical student, has a chance encounter with Sumathi (Janaki Srinivasan) during a rushed morning auto ride. When she shows interest, he eagerly pursues her, only to meet with an accident. As she steps in to care for him, their bond begins to grow.

Maaya Bimbum: SunNXT (Tamil, March 27)

The film is set in a near-future in cyberpunk Kochi where human memories can be extracted, traded and consumed through virtual platforms. It centres on a grieving father Bimal Raj (Niranj Maniyanpilla Raju), who turns to a virtual reality memory console to reconnect with his deceased child, drawing him into a wider network of traded memories tied to the life and image of superstar Frida Soman (Rajisha).

Masthishka Maranam: Netflix (Malayalam, March 27)

Starring Joju George and Biju Menon, the film follows a grieving father whose daughter goes missing, which fuels his relentless quest for justice against a police officer he suspects. When the system fails him, he takes matters into his own hands, piecing together clues and building his own case.

Valathu Vashathe Kallan: ManoramaMax (Malayalam, March 27)

Described as a "heartfelt tale of love, relationships, and second chances", the film stars Suman, Amani, Sunny Akhil, Kethna Raj, Srinivas Bhogireddy and Sandeep Dev.
