Dhanush-Kalaipuli S Thanu sign a three-film deal?

Dhanush is a busy man these days, especially after starting pre-production work on his next directorial venture. On the acting front, it is reported that he has signed a three-film deal with Kalaipuli S Thanu's V Creations.  

Incidentally, Thanu earlier distributed Rajinikanth-starrer Kaala, produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films. With Dhanush's Vada Chennai, directed by Vetrimaaran gearing up for an October 17 release, it is speculated that the actor-director duo will team up once again for a film that will be bankrolled by Thanu. 

Mundaasupatti-fame Ram Kumar's film with Dhanush had not yet fixed on a producer, and it could be one of the three films agreed to by the actor and Thanu. 

Meanwhile, Dhanush's second directorial after Pa Pandi is touted to be a big-budget period film that is set in the pre-independence era. Apart from Vada Chennai, the actor also has Balaji Mohan's Maari 2 and Gautham Vasudev Menon's Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta in the pipeline.
