Kamal Hassan to return as host for Bigg Boss 2

Kamal Haasan shocked his fans a few months ago by stating that he might bid farewell to cinema to concentrate on politics. His first plunge into the small screen as a host last year, Bigg Boss Tamil, was quite successful and the viewership of the programme increased due to his unique style and bold take on social issues. 

It was speculated that Kamal would return to host the second season as well. Now, it has come to light that the actor has shot a promo for the show already, which is set to air from June. Though it has been confirmed that Kamal will be the hosting, there is no word about the contestants who will be participating in the show.

Also, season 2 is expected to be telecast on a newly-launched channel instead of on the same channel as season 1. 

On the movie front, Kamal Haasan is reportedly set to star in a sequel to his 1996 film, Indian, directed by Shankar.
