Saamy Square shoot almost complete

Team Saamy Square is done with 80 per cent of the shoot, and the latest news is that the crew is planning to recreate a street seen in the Tirunelveli Halwa Da song from the original. Sources say the related work will be over in a week, and the set will be constructed on the outskirts of Tirunelveli.

Touted to be a revenge action entertainer, the sequel is being extensively shot in and around Delhi, Jaisalmer and Yercaud. If all goes to plan, the team will head to a foreign location in May. A source close to the unit says they're planning to release the film for Ramzan, but official confirmation is awaited.

While Bobby Simha, OAK Sundar and John Vijay play the antagonists, Keerthy Suresh will be seen as Vikram’s romantic interest. Produced by Shibu Thameens, the film has music by Devi Sri Prasad and cinematography by A Venkatesh.
