Mohanlal-Ranjith's Drama planned for Onam release?

As per reports, director Ranjith's latest, titled Drama, is gearing up for an Onam release. Filming is currently progressing in London.

Touted to be a story about family relationships, Drama also stars Kanika, Arundathi Nag, Asha Sharath, Suresh Krishna and Shyamaprasad among others. 

The film, which is also scripted by Ranjith, sees the director once again teaming up with Mohanlal after Loham. The duo is known for their long and fruitful collaboration which has delivered many blockbuster hits. In fact, Ranjith made his directorial debut with Mohanlal's Ravanaprabhu, which was a sequel to Devasuram, which was penned by the filmmaker.

Mohanlal is expected to join Prithviraj's directorial debut Lucifer after he completes Drama. His next release will be Neerali, which is set to hit the screens on July 12.
