While Aparna Balamurali of Maheshinte Prathikaaram fame is paired opposite Prakash, the film also has Nedumudi Venu and Vineeth in important roles. Reports suggest that Prakash will be seen as a Dalit drummer who wants to learn Carnatic music. Sources say, "The film has nine songs, most of which will be situational and will be a part of the narrative."
