Lyricist Vivek bags Rajinikanth-karthik Subbaraj film  

Lyricist Vivek, who has been on a signing spree of late with Vijay's Sarkar, Sivakarthikeyan's sci-fi film with Ravikumar (of Indru Netru Naalai), Suriya's next with KV Anand and Vijay Sethupathi's next with Sethupathi-fame Arun, is now on board the Karthik Subbaraj-Rajinikanth project. 

The lyricist took to Twitter to share the news. "Superstar's magnum opus! Thanks to one of the best directors of this generation and my favourite Karthik Subbaraj for Thalaivar 165. Thank you rockstar Anirudh Ravichander for making me part of your dream. Writing for the Superstar is humongous and what a team to join." 

The first schedule of the film was recently completed at Darjeeling and the second is expected to begin in Dehradun soon. Also starring Vijay Sethupathi, Simran, Bobby Simha, Sananth, Munishkanth, the film will mark the Tamil debut of Hindi actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
