Bodha: It's a man's world

The debut venture of director G Suresh, Bodha, is almost entirely made up of new faces. On the film that released last Friday, director Suresh says, "You have heard of gigolos, especially in Western countries. I have attempted to expose it with a message for youngsters that easy money is unhealthy for them."

The director who claims to have taken 'liberties with the script' says the lead character throws caution to the wind in trying to make money. "When the going is good, he has a whale of a time. But he has to find an escape route when he finds that all exits are blocked.

This results in some funny encounters." Given that the film is about the life of your average man, the director says he opted for debutants to play the parts. "With a shoe-string budget, I have done my best to include all the usual commercial ingredients in this potboiler."
