Jagapathi Babu to face off against Ravi Teja

Ravi Teja has teamed up with director Kalyan Krishna for a rustic actioner tentatively titled Nela Ticket. To be produced by Ram Talluri, the film will be launched on January 5 in Hyderabad.

According to a source, actor Jagapathi Babu, who has made a mark for himself playing the antagonist in many films in recent years, has been roped in to play the villain of the film. “This will be Jagapathi’s first project with Ravi Teja, and hence, director Kalyan Krishna has designed a performance-oriented role for him. It’s going to be a powerful role packed with high-voltage action sequences and has equal prominence to that of Ravi Teja's role,” reveals a source.

As for the heroine’s role, reports are doing rounds that Pooja Hegde is in talks to portray the female lead in the film. An official announcement is awaited.
