Avengers 4 might see the death of a superhero

The team had recently put out a casting call for extras to fill out a funeral scene in the film

The shooting of Avengers: Infinity War, which will be released in two parts, is currently underway with the crew currently filming in Atlanta for the fourth film in the series. Recently, the team has put out a casting call for extras to fill out a funeral scene in the film. With many of the leading stars’ contracts coming to an end, it’s rumoured that one of the superheroes might be killed off in the conflict that’ll happen at the end of this film.

The last time there was a funeral in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was in Captain America: Civil War, when Agent Peggy Carter was laid to rest. Much isn’t known about the plot of the upcoming film, but what’s known is that the film is set four years after the events of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and the Avengers, who are torn apart after what happened in Captain America: Civil War, will join forces with the Guardians of the Galaxy to battle Thanos, who is trying to amass the Infinity Stones.

With this film expected to hit the screens in May 2019, the other films we can expect from Marvel before that would be Thor: Ragnarok this year, Black Panther in early 2018, followed by Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp. 2019 will also see the release of Captain Marvel and the sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming, followed by Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in 2020.
